Northern and Southern Routes
Explore northern and southern routes of several historic highways, including highways 67, 78, 79, 80, and 94. Several highways are local or regional and others cross the entire United States.
All these highways offer historical and new adventures along their current paths through our country.

Historic Highway 80
Highway 80 crosses the southern route of the United States from coast to coast, with one end in San Diego, California and the other end in Georgia.
It has a long and interesting history, and offers many new adventures – all of which can be explored in present day.

Historic Route 94 follows the path of the original Campo Road Stage Route that made runs to the back country from San Diego in the late 1800’s. The Wineries on Highway 94 are just off the roads in the towns of Jamul, Dulzura, Potrero, and Campo. The vineyards provide a natural setting to have an event, to relax, have a picnic, and drink a glass of wine. These areas provide the perfect backdrop to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
